Our thorough review ensures we match volunteers with opportunities that align with their skills and our organization's needs.

Two professional references will be contacted to verify your work ethic, reliability, and team collaboration skills. Please ensure your references are aware they may be contacted by AAWTA.
Application Review
Your application will be evaluated by our VP of Community Engagement and the relevant Committee Chair within 2-3 business days. They'll assess your skills, availability, and alignment with our mission.
Agreements (Onboarding)
Upon acceptance, you'll complete our Code of Conduct and Confidentiality agreements during the mandatory 1-hour onboarding session. These documents outline our expectations for professional conduct and information handling.
Disclosure (Onboarding)
You'll provide detailed information about relevant previous experience in the trucking industry, volunteer work, and any specialized skills that will contribute to your 40-hour volunteer commitment with AAWTA.
Successful applicants will be notified via email with their start date and task assignments based on their indicated preferences.
